Welcome!
Welcome
to worship! Today is the last Sunday
before Lent—a time for us to celebrate the Transfiguration of Christ. May our time together create a desire for us
to be “transformed” because of God’s love for us! After worship, please join us for a time of
fellowship as the family of God—if you are visiting, please stay so we have the
chance to meet and greet you. Thanks be
to God for this chance to be here…worshiping together! Come, let us worship . . . GATHERING TO PRAISE *Songs of Praise Glorify Thy Name #19 Praise (all three verses) Psalm of Praise: Psalm 50:1-6 Majesty #73 Praise CONFESSING Lord Jesus Christ, today I
want to live as an expression of your love rather than as an effort to earn or
deserve your love. Like the Apostle
Paul, I have tried about everything to prove my worth. Nothing satisfies. I am weary of doing the right thing because
of guilt and not grace. Thank you for the limitless power of your love which
sets me free from a guilted cage to fly and soar to new heights of joyous
praise today. Amen. |
